"小丑"與"Show Must Go On"

有一陣子沒上來更新文章了，這次想介紹一首歌給大家。這….可要從哪裡說起呢？就從“小丑”這首大家小時候耳熟能詳的歌開始吧。記得小時候大家愛看“神仙、老虎、狗”這個綜藝節目嗎？神仙、老虎、狗指的是三個不同個性的藝人（註：有個說法是指不同階層的人物），我最愛的那段是張魁唱“小丑”這首歌做結尾的時候，小時候的我莫名奇妙就覺得很感動。那時，小時候的我覺得小丑很辛苦，每次都被欺負，然後逗大家開心。每次張魁唱這首歌都很有戲劇效果，尤其在“….把歡笑和悲傷化作喜悅，呈現給你…”，後面的樂團都會加重節拍，讓全場及電視及前的觀眾都悲傷不已。

長大的我，仔細去檢視這首歌的內容，才發現，這首歌的含意好深遠。不僅僅是藝人的心聲，也是很多成年人工作時候的心境寫照，“小丑”或許指的是真正付出、奉獻自己，服務大眾的無名英雄，其實也就是你我每天堅守岡位，度過高低起伏的最佳描述吧。

等我又大了一些，我發現 “Queen（皇后合唱團）”也有一曲含意相近的歌曲“Show Must Go On”。下面就是歌詞內容：

這首歌其實我沒有聽過原版的，我是在看皇后合唱團主唱“Freddy Mercury”紀念演唱會的時候才發現的，在演唱會中，這首歌是由Elton John擔綱演出，同樣令人感動。這麼好的歌詞內容，我想我還是不要翻譯好了，以免誤了大事。不過，我先說明一個單字，pantomime是指英式英文中的默劇，至於其他的內容，應該滿容易理解的。
